News

We want to thank everybody who came out to the Comet last Saturday night.  We had a smashing time, and are ever so grateful to Ali Edwards and Billy Alletzhauser for opening up the show in such style.  The night was something of a comeback for us, as we were finally able to break in some new songs and show off our new drummer Bill Bullock.  If you missed the fun, we're going to be doing an early set at the Northside Tavern on May 10th, so be there!

Curious about our latest LP is Helium-3?  We have four tracks streaming right here.  Downloads are FREE, so go crazy.

About the Band

Tonefarmer is an atmospheric jangle-pop band from Cincinnati, Ohio.   Founded in 2000 by Sleep Theatre main man Rob Hamrick and bassist/ vocalist Chris Mundy, the band has received local awards, radio play (including Nic Harcourt's L.A. program) and recorded in London, England. Their latest album Helium-3 was recorded with John Curley of the Afghan Whigs, and is their first record to feature guitarist/ singer Kevin Welch (the Underwoods).  2014 finds the band breaking in new material with local vet Bill Bullock (Soapland, Roundhead) on drums.
